Fine antique Persian Sarouk rug with a lovely garden niche tree of life vase design. Beautiful birds play and flowers bloom peacefully on a dusty rose background. Variations of this design date back to the 15th century and are every bit as moving in the early 20th century rendition. The colors are soft, lustrous, and moody.

Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with evenly low velvety pile over the whole rug. There are scattered "snowflakes" showing through the pile. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
