Antique Persian Karaja village rug with a brilliant navy/indigo blue ground and rich burnt red border. Three beautifully drawn tribal medallions and large blossom motifs dazzle the eyes in turquoise/sea green, apricot, pale pistachio green, coral pink, salmon pink, sky blue, chestnut, black coffee, and cream. The quality of the weave and wool are excellent.

Origin: Karajeh, Northwest Persia.
Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with low pile, some light wear, and minor imperfections. Ready to enjoy.
