Antique Persian Heriz rug with a colorful all-over botanical design in a freeform whimsical style. There is a very attractive asymmetry to the artwork enhanced by light toned colors shimmering with energy. The ground is lovely in subtly graded tones of peachy coral framed by a deep blue border. Accents abound in golden yellow, turquoise, jade green, baby blue, pale salmon, teal, maroon, sky blue, cream, and more. All-over freely drawn Heriz rugs with colors of this quality have become quite difficult to find, and for good reason.

Condition: Excellent condition overall with soft lustrous low pile and some small scattered areas of light wear. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
