Antique Persian Heriz Karaja rug of exceptional character, color, and quality. Twenty one tribal medallions form a lively and playful all-over design on a royal blue ground. The border is a geometric floral display on a red orange ground. A brilliant color balance is achieved with accents of yellow gold, French blue, Caribbean blue, emerald green, lime green, powder blue, navy, coral, salmon, curry, chestnut, and cream. The rug is very finely woven using glossy wool, and it is in excellent condition.
