Antique Serapi Heriz rug with finely articulated artwork rendered in a splendid array of subtly composed naturally dyed colors. The eye is immediately drawn to the Caribbean blue center point of the crenellated navy blue medallion. Delicately stylized botanicals float on the main coral ground and cream corner spandrels. The harmonious accent colors show the hand of a master weaver and include pastel sky blue, turquoise, bone white, chestnut, salmon, chartreuse, red clay, coffee bean, buff, and more. A rare combination of fastidious quality and artistic verve for the connoisseur.
