Vintage Persian Tabriz rug with an exotic display of polychrome stylized botanicals on a pale peachy pink ground. The large scale blossom palmettes and serrated leaves follow a delicate geometric lattice that simultaneously implies formality and ease. The utilization of color is intriguing and harmonious too, with baby blue, gold, pewter, Nantucket blue, tan, saddle, cardinal, olive green, powder blue, maroon, apricot, slate, navy blue, buttercream, and more. The border is a beautiful French blue. This Tabriz has captured an evocative aesthetic we seldom find in Persian rugs.
