Antique Persian Serab runner with an exquisite large scale floral palmette design in the Sultanabad style. The light tan/beige ground color is achieved through the use of undyed natural wool with subtle tonal variation from end to end. The rare rose border is indicative of pre-twentieth century weavings. Colors include topaz blue, olive green, walnut brown, periwinkle, soft navy blue, cranberry, blue-grey, teal, dark brown, and cream.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with low pile and some localized wear. There is some scattered old restoration. Ready to enjoy.
