Antique Moghan Kazak rug hand knotted 110-120 years ago in the mountainous Karabagh region of the southern Caucasus. The ancient repeating “Memling Gul” pattern, with its rich sparkling mosaic, was popular among the village weavers of the area. Three subtly different shades of sky blue play with asparagus green, tomato red, deep gold, black, and cream. Finely woven with soft springy hand spun wool and superb vegetable dyes.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with low pile and small spots of scattered wear. One corner could use a small repair if desired. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
