Antique Persian Tabriz rug with a dazzling polychrome millefleur vase design presented on a French blue ground. This intensely beautiful rug bears the makers mark of the famed PETAG workshop in Tabriz. The PETAG rugs were among the finest quality rugs produced in Tabriz between the 1910s and 1940s, and utilized top grade lambs wool and remarkable dyes. This millefleur vase design sparkles with positive energy and boasts a wide array of sublime colors including a rich caramel border, fern green, grape purple, lemon yellow, buff, gold, dried sage, cardinal red, robin egg blue, rose pink, sky blue, jade green, navy blue, cream, and more. A wonderful find for the lover of colorful flowers and quality.
