Antique Persian Heriz Bakshaish rug with the paradise garden design of weeping willows and cypress trees traditionally known as Bid Majnun. It is a rich and authentic village weaving with glowing earthy colors. The ground has subtle gradations of burnt red, brick, and terracotta clay, with a border of navy, slate, and charcoal-blue. Design motifs really shimmer in tones of sea foam green, coral, azure, tan, lemon yellow, powder blue, milk white, and black coffee. A rare find with a wonderful impression.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition with low pile, some scattered wear and a beautiful patina from age and use. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
