Vintage Heriz Serapi style rug with a dreamy large scale waterscape design on a stunning variegated (abrashed) pale blue and aqua ground. It really looks like a pool of water with stylized lotus flowers and frolicking fish. Carefully hand knotted using very soft and lustrous wool.
Size: 7'9"x10'10"
Age: 1980-1990
Origin: Turkey or Azerbaijan
Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition in full soft pile. Slight discoloration in small parts of the border. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
