Antique Persian Heriz rug with exceptional colors and artwork. The expansive medallion design, woven in richly contrasting organically dyed colors, conveys an ancient, yet playful impression. The medallion is brilliant azure and coral pink on a flag red main ground, with the corner spandrels in a rich butter yellow. Motif accent colors include an incredible turquoise-sea green, maroon, navy blue, lime gold, pale apricot, pink, cream, and black coffee. This Heriz is clearly the work of talented artisans.
