Antique Northwest Persian Heriz Karadagh runner rug with superbly drawn tribal graphics in an unusually beautiful range of colors. It has a very fine weave for a NW Persian rug and the hand spun wool is lustrous. The naturally dyed colors highlight the care that went into the making of this rug. So rich, complex, and vibrant. The ground is a gorgeous orange red with design elements in cerulean blue, rich gold, sky blue, navy blue, turquoise, jade green, pistachio green, chestnut, pastel pink, cream, and dark brown.

Materials: Hand knotted handspun wool pile on a wool foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall. Lustrous low pile over most of the rug with a localized area along one side showing stronger wear. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
