An exceptional antique Persian Karadagh runner rug woven 120-130 years ago in the border region between the Caucasus and Northwest Persia. Everything about this one of a kind runner puts it on the top shelf. The bold heraldic design is illuminated by fleecy handspun wool dyed with remarkable organic pigments. The variegated abrashed blue ground phases from shades of denim to steel blue, with motifs and border in rich turquoise, persimmon, French blue, straw yellow, pecan, white, and black.
