Large antique Persian Kerman Yazd rug with a dreamy floral design in the millefleur fashion. The eye is drawn to an expansive mandala floating on variegated cranberry with a denim blue surround lapping at its edges. The border is a meditative masterpiece with alternating lotus and orchid blossoms on charcoal blue. Sprinkled throughout this magical rug are pops of apple green, rich taupe, antique gold, pastel pink, fuchsia pink, pale peach, French blue, and cream. Adding to the ebullient impression is an uncommon natural etching of the denim blue dyed wool giving a three dimensional relief to the surrounding colors.
