Antique Persian Malayer rug with a serene floral landscape gracefully displayed on a soft navy blue ground. The coral border with rosettes and lilies draws on the artwork of the Shah Abbas period of the 16th and 17th centuries. The colors in the rug are first rate and include many different greens and blues with rich gold and cream. A must for the lover of spacious floral designs and the classic old naturally dyed colors.

Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes.
Condition: Good condition overall with low pile and small areas of wear. A few small professional restorations. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
