Antique extra fine Persian Josheghan masterpiece rug with an entrancing lacework design. Light toned botanicals fill the graceful dark blue arabesque like fine mosaic or stained glass art. When seen in person there is a delicate almost 3D effect from the undulating lines and masterful use of color. Pure ruby red, lemon yellow, spruce green, charcoal green, baby blue, French blue, rose pink, caramel, and the cream/ivory ground, all work in exquisite harmony. The quality of the wool, dyes, and extra fine weave are impeccable, and result in a supple lustrous cloth-like texture. Best of the best.
