Antique Persian Farahan rug with an unusually decorative botanical display in a twinkling array of softly glowing natural tones. The eye is instinctively drawn through the gently intertwining pattern of stylized blossoms and foliage. The colors alone are a reflection of the care and creativity that went into this artwork: baby blue, jade green, emerald green, apricot, steel blue, French blue, mocha, scarlet red, pink rose, and cream. The background is a lustrous variegated warm tan. A glorious find indeed!

Materials: Hand knotted hand spun wool pile on a cotton foundation. Natural dyes. Unusually soft wool pile with a dense pliable handle.
Condition: Excellent condition overall with lustrous evenly low pile. A few very small professional restorations. Ready to enjoy and suitable for normal everyday use. Professionally hand washed.
